I have lived in Pollock Pines since 1993.  I moved here with my family from Boise, Idaho.  I love living in the forest and am passionate about building a sustainable food forest on my little one-acre parcel.  I have been raising quail as part of this ecosystem for several years.  Quail seemed like a natural choice to include due to my chicken egg sensitivity.  I always ensure they have a good life, with plenty of space and access to fresh food and water.  Adding them to the land has been key to helping restore life to the soil.
